WE HAVE PUT TOGETHER A FEW TIPS THAT WILL ENSURE A SMOOTH AND SAFE DELIVERY:

General

Please be flexible. Many factors may prevent a product from being placed in a certain areas. Drivers will decide based on potential safety hazards and property damage. Remember that while we will do our best to satisfy your requests, our first commitment is to the safety of everyone involved.

Customer Responsibility

You do not need to be present for delivery. However, to ensure proper placement, please place an inanimate object (tarp, crossed shovels, X marks the spot with sidewalk chalk, cones, or buckets) where you would like the material dumped. Certain factors may prevent us from placing materials in the desired location.

Please have vehicles moved out of the way ahead of time and any other obstructions that may prevent us from dumping in the exact location.

Due to the mass amount of deliveries per day, we cannot guarantee a time for delivery. We can only guarantee the date. We do not call ahead or knock on the door unless there is an issue during the delivery. (This is why you mark the dumping location for our drivers). We cannot drive over grass, curbs, or sidewalks.

Driveways/Walkways

The weight of a typical delivery truck can cause damage to concrete or stone pavement if driven over. Trucks will not drive on new pavements and asphalt. New pavements and asphalt can take up to one year to cure and can be damaged by their weight.

Overhead Concerns

When scheduling a delivery, be sure to let your sales person know when scheduled, about any power lines, tree limbs, or other overhead objects that could obstruct the movement of the dump truck. The truck may not operate within 10 feet horizontally or 30 feet vertically of power lines due to electrocution hazards. The operation is limited to steep grades.

Underground Concerns

The location of septic lines, sprinkler heads, underground drains, and utility lines are all important to the capabilities of the truck to drive in certain areas. The delivery truck's weight could cause damage to any of these items if present. Be sure to advise your salesperson or driver of their presence.

Children/Pets

Keep pets penned up and children out of the vicinity during the delivery. Drivers will not see objects in their mirrors that are directly behind the truck.

Installation

When receiving a dump truck delivery, drivers cannot spread aggregates using the truck capabilities only. The stone or other materials will require additional manual raking or tractor work after delivery to create an even surface. We do not offer installation services or design. However, we may be able to recommend contractors for your installation needs. Please call our office or stop at our yard to discuss.
